Roger, you nailed it.
And you become like what you think about. The influences of the twitter chief run toward the sociopathic.
The speech to cops, giving permission to treat the public roughly was a bizarre example.

I feel like I keep bouncing around the political spectrum looking to find a general ideology I agree with and I'm always disappointed. I liked the libertarian idea but they come off as weak and spineless. The general far right I agree with on a lot of issues but everything ends up going back to an ethno-state with them.
The thing is, you don't have to pick an ideology and then swallow the whole thing part and parcel. You can be independent of all parties, groups, and ideologies. Break the mold and be a free-thinker. Take an a-la-carte approach.
Define your principles, whatever they may be, and then stand for or against issues and the groups that support or oppose those issues as they align with what you believe. Agreeing with or supporting a group or ideology on an issue doesn't mean you agree/support them on everything.
The binary, 2-party approach is tribalism being pushed on you by people and groups that seek to maintain power. The time for group-think is over.

We could do a lot of good back home with this money.
Maybe, but Medicare loses that much money in its sofa each month
