I don't think whatever deal Trump made with McConnell to endorse Strange was worth fighting his base and biggest supporters.

The only deal I would have made is a 100% guarantee of an ObamaCare repeal made in writing with public statements.

Carson is a man of conviction, he knows the only solution is complete repeal, then implement a system that creates true competition, possibly minimizing the current insurance based system.

Strange is a complete sleazy slimeball that as Attorney General, he intentionally slow walked his office's investigation into a corrupt Governor to get the senate appointment from Bentley who would up resigning anyway a couple months later. He's also backed wholeheartedly by Mitch McConnell who is universally despised in Alabama and just the other night he was pretty much silent on whether he supports DACA amnesty.

Trump should have stayed out of this race as burning political capital on it is a loser no matter who wins.

Making deals with Mitch McConnell to back a loser is a weak look

Not that I believe that's what happened

Trump is absolutely wrong for supporting Strange

I think that could be the case. Maybe Mitch promised a MAGA item passed through Congress quick in exchange to support the swamp. I want Moore to win, and want the crowd to boo when he brings up Strange tonight

For some “transactional” political move, Trump surely is going well out of his way to support Luther.

Yep but he is without a conviction so that destroys his street cred. Sadly that is valued more in some circles than all of his accomplishments!

The bottom line in this race is that McConnell fricked up by backing strange over Brooks.

Everybody in the state of Alabama knows strange is a complete slimeball. Meanwhile they might all think Moore is a bit odd but he's consistent and he is who he says he is

Putting strange in a runoff with Moore was insanity. But even dumber where the ads that strange ran against Brooks. They were so ridiculously dishonest that he completely poisoned the well

He virtually guaranteed that if he ended up in a runoff Brooks voters would slide to Moore. The hilarious part on top of that is that apparently the day after the primary strange reached out to Brooks asking for his support

I mean are you fricking kidding me?

I voted for Mo in the primary and couldn't believe all of the ads that came out against him beforehand. Absolute crap. Even if McConnell promised a repeal I don't see how Trunmp accepted it. Couldn't get it done once, why would he expect him to do again with the same people?

Speaking of convictions, can you explain to me why Rand Paul is railing against Graham/Cassidy when he voted for a skinny repeal bill back in July that had far less teeth and power than the current bill?

For a guy who wants ObamaCare gone, that seems odd.

This is patently false btw when he's been obsessed with trade deals including NAFTA for the past 30 years and has constantly railed against them.

Judeo-Christian values are not an endorsement. Even more so from a YEC. Stick to your job and leave religion out of it.
