imo its more because they can't understand how somebody could live that lifestyle, so rather than accept it they fear it because its different, and act accordingly

Because of nature burh..

Hey stick you dick where ever you want but don't blow smoke up my arse about it being natural. Same for all the mentally defective people who think they are the opposite gender as their reproductive organs prove.

Nature aint perfect, now never did I suggest the defectives shouldn't be allowed life and liberty. I'm just pointing out the obvious truth. Contrary to you liberals BS, everyone is not a winner.

Kennedy is such a bigot. I can't believe he thinks that things like "love, fidelity, devotion, sacrifice, and family" should be limited to "two people". Polyamory marriages must be recognized.

No I don't fear it, just like I don't fear someone with downs syndrome. I understand it's not their fault. Nature is not perfect.

I think this is true of many heterosexuals. This is a weak arguing point, IMHO.

I impugn generally sincere motives to the mainstream gay activists and those that have gotten married under the change. But, politically, I would agree with you. There has been a (maybe not so) subtle "anti family" or "anti traditional family" bias in the American left since at least the 1960s. The excesses of the sexual revolution are Exhibit A. The "No Man in the House" Rule, as part of the "War on Poverty" is Exhibit B. The Gay Marriage Crusade is Exhibit C.

It manifests itself in strange ways - from the philosophy of "It Takes a Village" - the famous book that our current Pres..(whew - just realized again how big a bullet we dodged in November) - sorry, then First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton wrote, to the gay wedding cake kerfuffle, and now the transgender fracas. It does seem to be an assault on "conservatism" generally and the progressives seem to take the approach that the more damage the better.

Eh. It's not just that they don't want to be monogamous. They are consensually non-monogamous. That's not normative for marriage. "But there's some people who mess around and other people who are in open marriages." Sure. And they're as rare as the gays who want to get married. We don't base the form on the shadow.

i know quite a few gay married couples and they are all monogamous. Maybe the spouses cheat (IDK) but they are not open relationships.

This was always my position.

I think it's hilarious that we have a policy in America(and everywhere really) that says, "oh, look, you found someone to marry...........you need a license for that..........give the state money".

It's absurd on its face.

Certainly not the arrogant oligarchy of those who happen to be walking around at the moment. The cruel taskmistress of the course of human history shits on progressivism again.

Judge Judy makes a very good point in many cases between unmarried litigants. She explains that the law has one set of rules for couples who get married and another set for couples who don't. Otherwise, the courts would have to deal with quarreling idiots who were 'together' for 2 weeks but thought of it as a marriage and now have issues about their separation.
