It's a little embarrassing, that after nearly 2 months I still find myself watching the countless Prog/Lib melt vids on youtube and still LMAO! If just 90% of these fools are legit in their melts it's fricking frightening how pussified this nation has become....., we have been given a chance to turn the tide people.

I can understand people being upset about their candidate not winning.
It's the people who are crying and legitimately "fearing" for their lives that make me laugh.
I always thought that "pussification of America" comment was overblown. But since election night, I've reconsidered my stance on it.

How about this loon. Trump and climate doom all in one.
I'm starting my 11th year working on climate change, including the last 4 in daily journalism. Today I went to see a counselor about it.
I'm saying this b/c I know many ppl feel deep despair about climate, especially post-election. I struggle every day. You are not alone..
There are days where I literally can't work. I'll read a story & shut down for rest of the day. Not much helps besides exercise & time
The counselor said: "Do what you can", which I think is simple & powerful advice. I'm going to start working a lot more on mindfulness.
Despair is natural when there's objective evidence of a shared existential problem we're not addressing adequately. You feel alone.
You feel powerless. You feel like nothing matters. Your relationships suffer. You feel guilty for "not doing more"
But what the hell am I supposed to do? Write another blog post? Our secretary of state is the fricking Exxon CEO
Last year we lost a huge chunk of the Great Barrier Reef. We are literally ending existence of animals that were here for millions of yrs
We don't deserve this planet. There are (many) days when I think it would be better off without us.
How am I supposed to do my job—literally to chronicle planetary suicide—w/o experiencing deep existential despair myself?

No. I leave em be, they make me want to do things to them that I know I should not do.
Fortunately, I would have to drive about forty miles to be exposed to those types.
