Parkland ER nurses are going through some intense training right now just in case.

They won't release the name of the new patient until AFTER the markets close for fear of spooking investors.

The 3rd person is not the same as the one you are thinking about. The third person is not a healthcare worker.

That's interesting that they would talk about the markets. Makes me wonder if a high-profile person might be having problems. I wouldn't wish this crap on anybody, but if it was somebody like Clay Jenkins that would create a bit of a shockwave.

No confirmation yet but sounds like it is one of Thomas Duncan's family members or friends.

Doesn't have to be a high profile person. The markets have been skittish this week with the Ebola news already.

True, but somebody earlier had said they didn't want to release the name.

If it's somebody connected to Duncan, and not a healthcare worker, that will be really disappointing. Those people are only a couple of days from "officially" being in the clear.

I clicked a link and read earlier this morning that Pham's boyfriend was being admitted to a hospital due to symptoms. Didn't pay much attention to it or post it because I don't know if the site is reliable. Might be him?

Not only that but think about the public & market reaction if its one of his children. Remember they went to school and could have contaminated classmates. Not saying its one of his children but it is someone associated with Duncan apparently.

Regarding Nina Pham's condition, im hoping that the change in her condition status is simply due to the fact that a different hospital is making that judgment.

Plus, it will increase the number of cases from Duncan. If we are getting 3 or 4 new cases per infection, it's going to get a lot worse really quickly.

NBC's DFW affiliate just said that there have been no new cases today.

That doesn't automatically mean there haven't been, but either NBC doesn't know of any or, possibly, I guess they could be sitting on something. Networks don't usually sit on stories, though.

So the Baylor one was a negative. Good news.

That is an older story--they have since received the patient. At the time that story was written the patient was being discharged from Baylor and en route to Presbyterian. That story was from 1:13PM and this one was updated at 2:47 PM

Weird. That's the only report of this I can find. Thanks for the link.
