I don't believe that at all. In fact, I respect tf for what I perceive as honest opinion. All of us are colored by our past experiences. Sometimes it is difficult to assess truth thru the residual tint. I am sure many of tf's past experiences are poignant.

frick his story. One night not even a year ago I was with some friends picking up another friend in New Caney, TX, which is a country-arse area north of Houston.

We were in an average-looking white Mustang, and it was all white guys.

We were stopped, and I don't even remember what for... so it must have been very insignificant if it was anything at all. And the car was searched for no reason by bored cops.

Has nothing to do with race.

I'm not saying in Holder's case or others' cases it has nothing to do with race, but it doesn't always. A lot of times cops are just dicks.

I'm sure they are, too. That's irrelevant to what I stated.

So you don't see anger in awhole bunch of Black people? And I'm Talking anytime ,anywhere. I actually feel for the hate they clearly have in them. A bunch of white guy's on a web site bitching cause we are tired of being the "excuse" is far different that the anger I see. But hey, whatever makes you feel better bout yourself or others is a good thing. I assure you ,this ole boy doesn't have anger in heart, more like ummm. Hope
Ohh and as for as Holder's comment. It's totally wrong to say what he did in his position. If I were the white cop I'd have to ask holder to be far removed from his case because of that comment.

Whites can do whatever they want. Their racial prison is self-imposed.

In holders position, that remark was way out of line!

I spent several days in a Eastern Texas jail for merely passing through the town. Got threatened with a blackjack (flat sap) and told I would be beat to an inch of my life unless I agreed to their false charge of public drunk. There was a hanging gallows outside my cell for crying out loud. Damn thing looked like something out of the wild west.

Of course, this was over 30 years ago. But I didn't hold it against the state of Texas. The same thing can happen at a lot of places...just because you're at a bad place at the wrong time.

Holder...

WTF does that mean?
It obviously means that he got to his current position because a affirmative action quotas because he is no where near most qualified for the job.

bad shite happens to most. If the recipient is black and self-conscious about being black, there's a good chance they'll think it happened because they're black.

I don't see Holder and Obama the same way I see Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson when it comes to dealing with race, but I guess these things are in the eyes of the beholder, and it seems many folks here make no distinction between them. IMO, Holder has never crossed the line of race-baiting, and the only time Obama may come close is when he commented on the Skip Gates case, which I felt was none of the President's business.

Trackfan:

You don't see a problem when a prosecutor makes a public statement that is arguably an indication that he might have some racial bias in prosecutorial cases involving race?

No I don't. If he had said what Governor Nixon said, I'd be blasting him, but Holder didn't mention and even implicate Wilson, so what's the big deal?

Holder and Obama don't profit from race baiting. But I can only remember the DOJ getting involved into 2 killings in the last 6 years, Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown. Both cases involved an unarmed black male being shot by a non-black person. I am willing to bet there have been 100's of killings in the last six years involving an unarmed victim.

Holder was part the armed militant black group at Columbia that demanded that blacks have a place to gather. Why did they need their own place? The whites didn't have their own student union....it was for all students. If blacks got their own place to gather shouldn't every minority have their own place to gather? Holder is not about justice for all...he is about justice for blacks. He sure the hell is not looking into all the murders of black children in Chicago or New Orleans......by black people. He only gets involved when a white person does the shooting.

Absolutely, positively, wrong.

You are an American.

You are the Attorney General.

Then, and only then, you are a black man.

My guess is that Holder would rank these things exactly like you did. During WWI, WWII, the Korean War and the Vietnam War, most Black folks, including Black militants who were pissed off about their treatment at home, voluntarily did their time when they were drafted. In most western countries, nationality trumps everything, which is completely different from the situation in the Mideast where nationality ranks second or third with religion #1.

Absolutely disagree. He has politicized his office to an incredible degree. It is appalling the depths to which he has sunk.

This is a man who refused to politicize the office;

cops stopped me once; therefore, black people are not stopped disproportionately.

My anecdote trumps data!!!
