quote:Are you sure you wouldn't be better off watching those sources than going to one source and taking as gospel a "soundbite compilation" that he and his producers chopped and decontexualized as they saw fit? Are the soundbites lies? Distortions? Do they overemphasize something you'd like to see underemphasized? What's the issue. If they're putting across facts that I can more or less reason to be true or probable or plausible, where's the crime. If it's a big enough story, I can go to WSJ or Fox or the Weekly Standard or the Economist or any number of other places and get different takes. And I can, of course, rely on my own experience and knowledge of government or history or sociology or policy. Most Americans' problems in this area stem from the fact that they haven't educated themselves in the basics. So they don't know what sounds reasonable and what doesn't outside of what their biases and beliefs are.
Limbaugh plays soundbite compilations of about 16 analysts from mostly left leaning organizations saying quote for quote the exact same thing almost daily.
The collaboration and collusion in the MSM is pretty deep and you have to know which sources to cherry pick from.

I believe one of the compilations was about Trump's speech at the RNC and it was quoting this but worse. These analysts were using the exact same quotes from all of these outlets about it being "dark" and "scary". I guess an opinionated description of a speech is "fact" enough to have it played across every media television network and many websites.

You could take the Kremlin out of this passage and put the left and MSM and it wouldn't miss a beat. It's pure projection of their own doings.
These people will literally go as far as this to push the fault of losing the election onto something else. This is scary
Well, believe what you want to. Do you think that the Kremlin isn't aware of the characteristics of the "left and MSM"? The only war that Russia wants with the US is a shadow war. Disruption and dissension are their main methods now because Russian only gains if it can pull down the US. It cannot complete economically and globally. This is how Putin stays relevant.

He could have just said it is a lot like Stalin's internal battle.
Who controlled the Soviet Union before Stalin? Who controlled Weimar Germany? Who controls most of the deep state and corporations in the U.S.? These coincidences are crazy. How can this keep happening? Zionist world order getting another champion to fight in Trump.
I don't know why it is so hard for so many people to identify these globalists even though they are always the same people.

On a scale of 1 to 10 how much truth is in this old joke?
How can you tell when a politician is lying?
Finding the truth in the political world has been even more difficult in my view because of the vast number of sources available and no real way to clear them all for truthiness.
The Dems in particular have created websites with the goal of scrubbing the truth.

I recall Joe Scarbrough straight up calling Mika out for reading directly from White House talking points on air.
They've even been caught submitting articles to the administration for editing/approval.
You seem like a reasonable enough guy. Don't go all BamaSJW on us.

quote:The unfortunate result of decades of dysgenics, aided by deliberate importation of tens of millions of immigrants from nations with limited intellectual capacity, dysfunctional educational systems, and cultural predilection for ignorance, means that the percentage of Americans who are capable of the kind of basic discernment you describe is shrinking every year.
Consuming media and sussing out what's factual, what's likely fictional, what's plausible and implausible, and what's probably mostly true but reported from an angle isn't this monumental thing that Americans pretend it is.Assuming you have a baseline of knowledge in a few subjects and the ability draw logical deductions it's just not fricking rocket science.
It may not be 'fricking rocket science', but to a growing number of US citizens and their future generations, it might as well be.

It is no wonder that your opinions are so screwed up.
