Keep people from visiting their loved ones in the nursing homes ... we're having a ton of cases now but thank goodness visitors are still allowed in. No family was AWFUL and we had one lady literally starve herself to death because of it.

It still pisses me of that people and stores are still mailing where I am especially with bathrooms and closing off entrances to my grocery store. How is that helpful? Common sense tells me that's worse.

They probably kept the restrooms closed because they figured out they didn't have to clean as often with just employees.

I'm sure the grocery store entrance thing is due to them figuring out it reduced theft. A lot of the stores around here have you go in one door and out a different one. You have to go out near the registers and not the one that's away from them.

I agree that it sucks.

State of Washington closed all fishing in early March of 2020 due to COVID. Seriously. Actually wrote tickets and made some arrests. It was the final straw for me...I moved back to the south. I don't agree with most politicians in the south in either party but by damn I can at least go fishing when the crappie are biting....

Not allowing people to visit or jog on the beach. That video of the police office getting outran by the jogger, jogging "illegally" on the beach, was the bow on top of this absurdity.

Why isn't Walmart back to 24/7 operation? Is anyone back to 24/7?

Because they were looking for an excuse to stop being open 24/7 for whatever reason and COVID was the perfect excuse. Waffle House used to advertise that their stores did not have locks on the doors because they never closed...but they do no, most of them, nightly, because they weren't making enough overnight to justify being open.

This is absolutely the truth....they would love to have it where they had to buzz you in and out but building codes won't allow it....worst idea ever to force peole into a line during a virus outbreak.

The dumbest was believing that the economy was some magical light switch that could be simply turned off and on.

Masked pedestrians walk out on to a busy street to get around me on the sidewalk because I didn't have a mask on.

One of the dumbest things I saw, that still irks me, is the reduction in store hours.

Why isn't Walmart back to 24/7 operation? Is anyone back to 24/7?

They kept saying to social distance - why would you reduce store hours? The same number of people exist, they all have to eat etc, so you want to pack them into stores in a shorter amount of time than normal?
This never made sense.

Also, countless people touching all of the items in the store - from the produce to the packaging on a cereal box - that then gets taken home with the customer. But you MUST wear a mask while shopping, despite the fact that germs are spread from touch more than anything and every customer is carrying those items back into their homes.

That's not even including all of the things touched in-store, like the carts, the pinpads on debit card readers, shelving, refrigerator door handles, etc.

But masks will protect you from airborne droplets!

Tennis season starts February and was cancelled but meanwhile basketball got to play their championship game in a crowded gym with people riding in bus loads to the game knowing there was an ominous health threat. It’s all politics.

when it all started we thought..great...lets spend time gardening/landscaping. Weent to home depot and to get to the open air garden section, you had to stand in line with people packed in close to you and enter through the front door causing you to go INSIDE the store before being able to go OUTSIDE to the garden section.

Police arresting people walking on the beach.

Filling in skate parks with sand so kids couldn’t play in them.

The ushers at LSU baseball games patrolling the aisles for anyone maskless who wasn’t eating or drinking in that moment.

Masked wind musicians with holes cut out of the masks so they could play their instruments, and plastic covers over the bells of their horns.
