Yes. Super excited actually. I will start working on his campaign in a couple of weeks.

I've worked on campaigns before, its a hell of a feeling when your candidate wins.
Good luck.
Which office you helping out?

There is no reason Cassidy should lose this election, but I wouldn't be surprised if somehow the party drops the ball.
Mary sucks.
Mary sucks.

note: I don't have time to volunteer for Cassidy but I will spread ads on Facebook.

i just don't want a republican to win anything ever.
I actually like Mitch Landreiu, a democrat, and I would vote for him with little problems depending on the office.

then it comes out he donated to an ultra liberal candidate in 2012

Sorry, 2011.
maybe he wasn't ultra liberal(that's how it was portrayed to me), but he's still a democrat. he's still in no position to attack Cassidy for it as its hypocritical

Maness also gave to a Democrat in 2011. Retired Air Force general Jonathan George was seeking the Democratic nomination for Indiana's 9th Congressional seat. George ended up losing the bid, but Maness gave $2,500 to the effort, records show. Maness was a colonel in the Air Force, ending a 32-year career with his retirement in 2011.

"The candidate to whom Col. Maness donated is a friend, a fellow veteran and, although a registered Democrat, is a constitutional conservative who shares the Colonel's values and ideals," said Maness spokesman James Hartman. "Unlike Congressman Cassidy, Col. Maness has never donated to candidates with fundamentally different viewpoints, nor has he abandoned his principles to run against an entrenched politician he once supported.

Most of the people that will vote in the November election do not yet know there is a November election. We can't confuse what seems logical on the political board with the thinking of the general public, those running senate campaigns know this, and spend their time and money appropriately.

Are you motivated to go out and work to get Cassidy elected?

Why? Are you a lower 9th ward citizen? If so I can understand it. If not then you're a fool.

Mitch has done a damned decent job under the circumstances. Your post is funny because the rap against him by some assholes is that he's ignoring the lower 9 and other poor areas. You're just flapping your gums.

I agree. I lean just to the right of the middle I suppose but I won't vote against someone who has done an overall good job. Voting by party has never seemed to be the smart play. Do a good job, keep your job.
