When did social Conservative or economic Conservative fall out of favor for discussing aspects of Conservatism? Never heard this term before in my life.

It's not a new term. It's been around since the 80s.

I would be as well if there was such a thing. But on a macro scale that doesn't exist.

I check all the boxes for one.

quote:

Paleoconservatism (sometimes shortened to paleocon) is a conservative political philosophy found primarily in the United States stressing tradition, limited government and civil society, along with religious, regional, national and Western identity.

Paleoconservatives press for restrictions on immigration, a rollback of multicultural programmes, the decentralization of the federal policy, the restoration of controls upon free trade, a greater emphasis upon economic nationalism and isolationism in the conduct of American foreign policy, and a generally revanchist outlook upon a social order in need of recovering old lines of distinction and in particular the assignment of roles in accordance with traditional categories of gender, ethnicity, and race.

The bold is wrongly worded, it shouldn't be isolationism, it should be non interventionism as interfering with the soverign affairs of a country has gotten us in deep shite.

Seek commerce with all, alliance with none.

Some people refuse to understand that demographics is destiny and there are real negative consequences if you don't control the border and make sure its secure.

What does this nebulous statement mean?

Sounds like reverting back to the 50s. Not sure what ethnic and race roles are. I'm sure it's something good, though.

I'm built out of a lot of Paleocon lumber.

But I've also got a few sticks from the alt-right forrest and some an-cap jungle wood too.
