As a Republican, I welcome the Democrat hijinks. I think the events after the election and especially leading up to this week have highlighted the self-defeating arrogance of Democrats. The election results already showed us the country is done with their grand experiment, but their doubling-down with the same mindless reasoning and failure to recognize their shortcomings only ensure long-term Republican prominence going forward. Do they really think they're attracting more voters for 2020 and 2024 with this openly brazen behavior? I think many Hillary voters that were on the fence just might fall on the other side.

Memo to Democrats: You are not the smartest people in the room.

Memo to the "Popular Vote" supporters: Please explain how the Yankees lost the 1960 World Series after outscoring the Pirates 55-27.

Sure hope so. Let them do the hard work of running their party in the ground for good.

Dims have a penchant for taking a big shite and wallowing in it, not sure if it's predisposed behavior or learned.

I hold mostly democratic beliefs, but I agree with you.

No, they created their own demise with their own policies. Since 2008, they lost 1034 seats nationwide. And guess what? Name a young "rising star" outside of Corey Booker? All of their pols are dinosaurs.

The radicals of the party are the ones doing the most harm and yet they are the ones who are least likely to suffer the consequences.

Moderate dems took the hit in 2010 and 2014 while the shite stirrers waltzed back into office with ease.

I think the party will continue to move more and more left with each passing year. Their survivability depends of whether the nation moves with them or not.

This. They give the perception that they are the standard bearers of the party.

At this level of outright craziness, I think not. 60 no-shows?? No thanks...

I agree with you. The nation is not likly to ever move that far left.

When you see them seriously considering Keith Ellison to head up the DNC you have to wonder if they've sold out completely to the left and if the moderates have any chance of hanging on.

I honestly feel sorry for the moderate Dems like Jim Webb. I might disagree with some of his positions, but at least he's someone you can work with.

The days of the Blue-Dog Democrats are gone I think though. All hail the batshit insane, identity politics uber alles, SJW proggy freaks.
