Are any of you disqualified from serving in the military for medical reasons?

I have a hearing loss and couldn't serve in the Military when I turned 18. Two of my kids have had medical issues that disqualify them, even though those issues are completely resolved. I have one son on active duty.
I'm surprised that someone who has transgender surgery isn't disqualified for medical reasons. There are so many medical conditions that are far less serious that disqualify people, now. I think political correctness is the only reason that it was ever allowed in the first place.

yes, I have multiple prior injuries that prevented me from qualifying. Foot, knee, shoulder, etc.

Yes but I received the disqualifying injuries in the military and I'm not in a huge hurry to get back.
