Any theories on why companies are now increasing investment and jobs in the USA?

Seriously, the list just grows every few days. Trump doesn't even take office until Friday and any reduced corporate tax legislation is going to take a while to kick in, so what gives? Why didn't these companies do the same under Obama?
Personally it seems to me that the actions by these companies prior to Trump officially doing anything just goes to show the ineptness and overall poor economic climate that Obama and his ilk are so proud of.
I mean each time a company makes an announcement like this, with NO tax legislation being passed, it's a big frick You to Obama and his economic policies.

No one knew exactly where Obama's policies would lead from a business standpoint. With Trump they are assuming his policies will be pro-business and thus are willing to re-invest in America.

I'd imagine the fact that Trump actually talks to the leaders of these companies probably helps a lot.

with all the taxes and regulations that were put on business in this country it wasn't worth it, now with the changes being proposed it is.

Everybody with a brain, that wasn't drinking the kool aid, knew who Barry was. So, businesses covered their asses.
Now, they are prepping for a business friendlier Fed gov't, but are also fearful of Trump and are trying to get on his good side. Plus, make money.
