any other conservatives now wish the statues would come down to get it over with?

I know this is not going to be a popular political point on here, and I think it is silly they are coming down. But at this point, no matter how much we hate it, the left has been given the moral high ground by the media; and the media is trying to show our side as neo-nazis. I think we have lost this battle for history and for confederate monuments. Does anyone here think we are going to reverse course and retake the high ground? I do not.
I think we lost this battle and need to let the issue die before the next election, so that the loony left can start going after statues of Jackson and the probably Jefferson. I cannot imagine anyone normal supporting that cause. Then the voters will see nutjobs protesting former Presidents on the news instead of neonazis.

No, because though I care very little for the statues, it's the greater point that I'm bothered by. That and the fact that this will only embolden them to push for more.

As a former Dem and Proggie, I fully expect Conservatives/Establishment Rs to back down and allow it. That way the left can come after more rights next.
So yes, go ahead and do what you always do. Then, when they come after more items, you can be mocked and vilified again. I hope you recognize a pattern here.

It's not about the statues anymore, they want to remove anything or anyone that is white and historical.

I just wish they would remove every statue that highlights any Caucasians and rename every park/building that references caucasians. Hell just rewrite history. Move all civil war graves to one huge paupers grave. Because that is what is going to happen.

Progressivism is a disease that is a manifestation of unhappiness within oneself in which people believe by changing their surroundings they can subvert changing themselves. They will never be happy, therefore they will always want to change the status quo. At some point theit hate for God as a manifestation of a hate for themselves made them extremely anti-religion and made them start eleminating all aspects of tradition and universal values. If you think taking some statues down will get them to calm down and "chill" then you may want to re-read this post until it sinks in.

I would be curious if people on this board are more aware of why all of these statues we're erected than a few years ago. It isn't about history.

So what happens when the statues come down? You think ANTIFA and radical groups like that are just going to fade into the background? Perhaps emboldened by spineless people such as yourself who didn't want to stand up to them, they start attacking people at prolife rallies or whatever cause you wanna pick out that's center right.

You know why we lost. Too many good people just don't give a damn or don't really realize what is going on. I mean Trump is the only one out there that has had the moral courage to take a stand aginst this madness. He gets it. This is an ideological fight for the direction of this nation.

bullshite. 95% of these statues were erected from the 1870's through the 1920's-30's. By funds raised by the UDC. These statues were not erected as an reaction to the Civil Rights movement in the 60's. If you are saying so, then you are a liar and continue to push false narratives like you do 99% of the time on here.
