I will put myself out there, I believe we should be an Isolationist country and not meddle in any other affairs but our own.

I really wanted him to find a key spot for Sheriff Clarke in his administration.

Yep. That worked great for us in the 20's and 30's.

Actually, I agree with you up to a point. I believe that we should maintain a significant military presence in Asia (Japan, Korea, Philippines) and in Europe. We should always have military assets in place, ready to strike an enemy at a moment's notice. I believe that we should maintain our alliances such as NATO and ANZUS, and honor the commitment to those if the need arises. I don't believe that we need to get involved in every little brush fire that occurs in the world; only those that unquestionably involve the security of the United States. For example, ISIS. Or if we could turn the clock back 15 years, I would support action in Afghanistan but not Iraq if we knew what we know now.

I think protecting the environment is more important than Trump does. I worry about clean water, clean air, fish stocks. I don't get the feeling Trump cares much.

I guess that's where I differ, we shouldn't be in those countries.

If only it were that simple. We are a kick arse Country that was once the beacon of freedom but even 350 million of the most bad arse people can survive without world alliances. By all means though make the world as simple as you want to see it and Trump makes it. IF... ONLY...

I'm all for deregulation where it's prudent BUT there are some things that can't be undone and the environment is one of them. I'm a sportsman and largely a Republican that's witnessing the death of one of the most prolific estuaries the world has ever known for "green energy" causes on the Missouri River, levees through the entire MS Basin, ethanol subsidies converting wetlands to low yield cropland, and oyster leases that LA fricking gets sued for protecting their "leased water bottom property." Donkey or Elephant, they're all assholes and they're all sucking your tax teet.

We're going to look back at what happened to LA and our kids are going to shake their collective heads' at us for not dealing with the obvious. They're going to say, "it was so easy, it was staring you in the face, but you made people rich studying a bunch of shite you never did anything about. Congrats you glorious, insightful, mother frickers. You destroyed it for you and never let us know what it was."

Would people PLEASE stop using "isolationist" and "non-interventionist" interchangeably?

I don't like Betsy DeVos. I think she is a moron. But I get that she isn't there to run the department so much as kneecap it.

Other than that nothing so far. It's all good.

Education Secretary Betsy D doesn't seem qualified.

I'm ok with school choice, but not her running the show.

I also wish Trump would drop the voter fraud stuff. It should be looked at but the timing is off.

Just focus on his promises in his first 100 days and we'll be ok.

I hate that he doesn't walk around with a pair of ivory handled six shooters on his hips, a la George S. Patton.

The left just begged him to investigate...wait until California numbers come in...Virginia and Nevada are also heavy candidates for poorly run elections...that dude could probably take those two states based on the fraud.
