There are laws on the books. Just like the immigration laws the previous administration simply chose to ignore. Will take a while for sanity and clear thinking to return after an eight year absence.

Why do they have access to such cables? Seems like a bit of negligence on the part of the responsible company. I've gotten dinged on network audits for much less. That said I hope they are prosecuted, what a pain in the arse.
