No. You are incorrect.

What people who dismiss participation trophies miss is that they are a symbol of the over arching child rearing approach with the focus on self esteem being paramount.

Ironically, what they successfully did is frick up the self esteem of an entire generation because they became adults COMPLETELY unaccustomed to shite not going their way and it being NOTICED!

Some little examples of the self esteem ideology.

An English teacher friend of mine 15 years ago told he couldn't mark papers in red because it was "demoralizing to students".

Hiding Grades so no one knows who the frick up is in school(lol....they still know)

A school district my child went to taking away letter grades for non HS in favor of numbers. They no-shite briefed us parents that this was because "F represents failure"...........I'm like......um, you think the kids won't notice 4s are bad?

Refusing to do competitive things in schools that might make some kids feel bad. IE, I grew up with spelling bees happening in all of my language classes. Now? Nope. Can't hurt their feelings.

Then, it showed up nearly everywhere. Outside of schools too. Every effort was made to shield people from EVER feeling bad or, at the least, to shield them from any measurement taking notice they didn't succeed.

I have no idea what planet people were on to think that this wouldn't create a problem in adult hood. I've been saying for 20 years..........."that's basically an 18 year long practical joke where you, after 18 years.........release these poor fricks into a place full of competition"

You guys do realize that plenty of liberals call out the SJWs right? Even the evil liberal media calls out, for example, the hypocrisy of the Berkeley protests. Stop painting with broad strokes and you'll get a clearer picture of reality.

When they finally recognize that they BUILT the environment that caused it, let me know.

Liberals refuse to accept that they spend the last 40 years absolutely PUSHING towards this completely predictable end. And, CONSERVATIVES did PREDICT it!

Like always though. Liberals now want to hand wring and act like the shite just fell out of the sky.

have a lot of hope for Gen Y'rs. This millennial generation will go down as the most lost, retarded and socially inept generation in history.

Isn't the next one gen Z? I thought millennials were technically Gen Y.
