I'm not saying the people waving an American flag shouldn't be able to even if it is for stupid reasons.
I'm saying that they are doing it out of prejudice. And that's why they are being called "racists".

There is NEVER a stupid reason to display the American flag in America, unless your plan is to denigrate it.
However it is sheer ignorance and perhaps racism as well, to go any country and display the flag of another country. Then wonder why the citizens of that country get in your arse.

Yeah, I'm sure the opinion of the people waving the flag was that Hispanics are lovely people being persecuted by a poor government.
Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest to hear that this flag waving was followed by a sit-down to brainstorm ideas for a solution to problems with the Mexican government, because at heart, they felt no prejudice against Hispanics.

I've noticed that as well. He is one of those that in his quest to sound extremely intelligent, achieves the exact opposite result.
He has an Al Sharpton quality about him. Tries, but just can't pull off the façade of real intelligence.
