I'll preface the by saying that I voted for Grump, and hope to see him succeed.

Trump really needs to avoid things like this. Meeting with Kanye (or doing some of the other things he does, like unfiltered social media posting) are actually becoming harmful for him. He is giving ammo to those who are against him, especially after his comments about the intel briefings, and now people can throw in his face that he has time for Kanye but not intel briefings. Obviously, he can do what he wants since he is the President-elect, but he is risking undermining his own credibility and agenda.

I heard on the radio that Kanye was on suicide watch or something.

Don't care.

I think most people think Kanye is a talented artist but also a tool. the big fanboys of kayne prolly don't (or can't) vote.

but I think it was a good move.

According to Alex Jones, Kanye went to trump because he wants to take down the cabal.

He apparently attended a public spirit cooking event with Kim. He did not enjoy it and it pushed him to wanting a divorce from the crazy bitch. He then went public saying he would vote for trump if he had voted. Immediately after that public statement, Kanye was forced into a mental ward against his will for 2 weeks.

Upon leaving, Kanye immediately went to Trump. Safe to say, Kanye might have seen what the cabal is capable of first hand and wants to stop it.

Have you been paying attention at all? He hasn't had any credibility with the media since the Republican primary. He never had any with staunch Republicans or Democrats. And those of us who do support him sort of like his quirky, obnoxious, bloviating, nose-thumbing schtick.

No they're not. It's only liberals that say this.

He's bridging the divide, talking directly to the American people instead of going through media outlets (which the MSM cannot STAND) and the more the left melts, the more valid it becomes.

Trump has single handedly stumped:

The Democrat Party
The Republican Party
The White House
The FBI
The Mainstream Media
The Right Wing Media
The Clinton Machine
The GOPe
All but one pollster
Vegas
Hollywood

Forgive me for being credulous, but I'm just going to assume he has a good reason to meet with that idiot. Trump understands the power of celebrity. I imagine Kanye will be used as a convenient tool to reach a demographic that is traditionally not reached by the Republican message.

Ok, but why give them any ammo when you can avoid it?

No, and meeting with a murderer and a race baiter is not okay either.

But I'll give him a pass until the 100 days are up plus the SC appt. He better deliver the goods.

To get assurances from Trump that his AG would prosecute the Kardashians for crimes against manhood.

The smartest, most astute thing Barack Obama has ever said was, "Kanye West is a jackass."

If this Kanye/Trump thing develops into a relationship, or god forbid, some kind of official/semi-official post, you can bet the house that Kanye will wind up embarassing the Trump administration.

There a tons of respectable black folks with a high profiles in pop-culture that could serve as a bridge to the young black community. Kanye West ain't one of them.
