Until this week, I've heard his name but never watched or read any of his work. Monday, I find myself checking out YouTube, see a video trending and I'll be damned if he hasn't gotten me hooked. I've tuned in each of the past three days for pure entertainment just to see what he will come up with next. He seems to have a ton of viewers on today's stream, which led me to question if they're here for entertainment too. Judging the live comments, they appear to buy in to the info.
So my questions:
Does he really believes what he's selling or simply playing a role?
To rationalize his viewership #'s, Is there some event where the breaking info he provided turned out to be factual?

Well when he had to go to court for child custody, the opposing lawyer brought up some of his onair beliefs as justification that he was an unfit dad, and he claimed it was all an onair personality and he didn't believe any of it. So you decide.

There are multiple accounts of him acting like a raving lunatic on British TV and once the cameras are off, he immediately becomes mild-mannered. That says a lot to me.

I never listened to Jones until HC, who I know lies constantly about everything, kept bringing him up.
You have to admit that the left is obsessed with him.... bc he's always proven right.

There are definitely some loons that believe every word he says. Hell, some of the posters on here drops hundreds of dollars on his supplements

- Alex Jones got a tip from Secret Service that hillary was sick during the campaign. A month later she was caught on camera.
- Alex Jones said a decade or so ago atrazine was making frogs gay and transgendered. A Cal berkley professor confirmed it was true.
-Alex Jones warned fluoride is a neurotoxin and reduces the IQ in children. CNN and many medical studies over the time have confirmed.
- Alex Jones said 15+ years ago cable boxes and other connected electronics were listening and watching everything that goes on inside your home and would claim it was only for advertising. Last year this was confirmed essentially everywhere.
The list goes on and on with this guy. He doesn't really make any predictions or come up with theories. He usually just tells you what people are telling him and/or what is already out there in books, movies, etc.
keep listening. You'll find he is far from fanatical and just a very well read person that knows a lot about which he speaks.

If you don't want the fake news story, here is what actually happened.
The wife's lawyers brought up the fact that AJ does skits on his show for comedy relief. Alex admitted that he does play characters in the form of satire to bring comedy to the show at times. The judge ruled it was irrelevant and threw it out as it had no bearing on anything.
The court awarded AJ full custody of his kids.
