That's a big step for you, 808. Big step from "there's nothing here." It's honestly reminiscent of some of us moving on from candidate to candidate to contested convention 18 months ago.
It's not a big step. It's what I predicted the moment the left started whining for a special investigation. It's what special investigators do.

The last couple (Starr and Fitzgerald) respectively ended with the impeachment of the President of the United States and the felony conviction of the Chief of Staff to a very powerful Vice President of the United States.
Of course you already know that.
Let's see what happens.

And the Starr "conviction" had absolutely nothing to do with what the investigation was about (Whitewater). Instead he veered off into researching blowjobs and blue dresses.

Savage has been talking all week about a high power Dem donor friend of his that's a high profile lawyer that was beyond pissed at the Democratic Party and the MSM.
I'm betting it's AD.

And if we're honest, the Libby prosecution was bullshite.

Oh wait. His "persecution" only merited a commutation of sentence from a president he served.
Seems innocent.

Give Dershowitz a few days and he will say something that puts him back into the other category.

I'm sure you've done shadier shite in your life than what Scooter went to jail for. You don't have to say, "You're right, bass." Just wink and nod and it will be our secret.

It's what I predicted the outcome would be here. You wanted to make some tangential point and I was simply noting it was exactly the sort of thing I was predicting.

He is pissed that Keith Ellison got appointed deputy chair.

You are aware that even Marx was a wealthy man, correct?
Otto grew up in Texas & moved to Lake Charles later in life. With a background like that, being exposed to racist Texans who kidnapped his sister, who are we to question him?
And did I mention he lived in a commune in California, where he became well versed in orgies? Dude is THE expert in communism.

Dershowitz has always been all over the place. He's never toed a line. He and Bob Woodward are probably my most respected talking heads even though I often disagree with both.

He hates Trump already. But he is a civil libertarian. In recent years he has been reasonable. This thing ends with some minor scalps hung on a wall. The IC escapes unscathed. Letting everyone know what heroes they are, and a colossal waste of resources.
Two points. Although I disagree with AD politically, I respect the hell out of him. And probably most important, I fear this country is lost due to IC persons and entrenched bureaucratic powers. call it deep state. Call it whatever you want. It is what it is, and it has never been more obvious. I won't impact me, but I do feel bad for future generations.

He's in the civil liberties category. Sometimes that hurts Trump and sometimes it hurts the MSM and Democrats. It always helps the country.
