but it's laughable that you would imply there is zero wasteful spending in the state.

Where did I imply this?

I stated clearly above that for every $1 of new taxes we should implement $2 of wasteful spending cuts.

don't live in that state so I can't list you specifics, but it's laughable that you would imply there is zero wasteful spending in the state.
Any state and I mean all of them have tons of people collecting welfare who are able bodied and simply lazy. Start there!

You sound woefully ignorant about welfare, so im not sure where to begin. Also, i didnt imply anything. I just asked for specifics, which you cant provide because you have no idea what you're talking about. You got fed a bunch of b******* by by right-wing politicians and mouthpieces. Happens to us all. I just quoted Trump for something he didnt say. Happens

Those arent going anywhere. If we get rid of them, we fail as a first world society imo

I'm not talking about getting rid of them. I'm talking about cutting their budgets so that they grow at 1-2% annually instead of the 7-8% now that's unsustainable.

So, since you're against a higher gas tax, do you support:

1) continued underfunding of our infrastructure and deterioration of our roads and bridges

2) getting the money from a less regressive place, such as income tax increases

3) borrow the money and increase our deficits

Just curious. Thanks

Most people aren't opposed to taxes themselves. They just detest the continual mismanagement, fraud, waste, and abuse.
