I agree. If we go back in history I'd say the Bible is the most influential book. But at this point in history, I'd say it's the Koran.

Its the most harmful book, thats for sure

Its the same with nearly every major problem. It boils down to culture and parenting/upbringing. Id bet majority of jihadists cant quote very much scripture.
You could just as easily say "white trash and ghetto culture are the most influential things in the U.S."
In both cases maybe so, but mostly to the uneducated and people who were never taught or never learned to think for themselves.
Its not so much thatbthe book itself ia doing the influencing, its the hive mindset thats growing larger

It had to be established as the English standard by the time KJV was published, which shoots it up there already. Then consider how broad the language reaches and its ubiquity in technology, namely aviation, where pilots must speak English regardless of background. None of this is possible without a printed standard by which the Anglophone world abides.

I disagree. I'm going with this...

No. My argument is based on how Islamic jurisprudence works, and the tradition of Islamic exegesis. But I guess this depends on what exactly you are talking about.
If we are talking strictly about Salafi/Wahabi terrorism, there are other works that I would put ahead of the Qu'ran, which were more influential to early Islamists. Milestones by Qutb was visionary in its concise description of the Islamist enterprise. It didn't even reference the Qu'ran all that much from what I remember. I'd have to find my copy to confirm this though, because I read it a long time ago.

How can it be influential when no one has read it? Hell, Muslims are illiterate. They just listen to what the Imams say the Koran says. And half of the Imams can't read.

Disagree. Christianity is still the largest religion in the world, and therefore, I believe the Bible still has the greatest influence.
Plus, it's the truth.

For the general public I'm sure the Quran would be an acceptable answer. For Islamist terrorism, the Quran is supplementary in the sense that there is a lot of picking and choosing, with little reference to the exegetic tradition. The drive for Islamist terrorism comes from other places. In terms of the Islamists, I'd put Milestones by Qutb higher than the Quran, but I don't think anyone will agree with my opinion.
