the problem is that it's a rabbit hole, with the absurdity of that slippery slope being exposed in real time

similar rhetorical and logical issues with concepts like disparate impact and the VRA/CRA-caused gerrymandering

You mean when you go around talking about a "Muslim ban" and your homeboys post pictures from the White House of whiteboards with "Muslim Ban" checked off on a list of 100 days accomplishments it might make courts think you intended to implement a Muslim Ban? Who knew?
