A story about Russians

The other day at the grocery store, I met the mother of children with whom my kids go to school. She's Russian.

We talked about summer camps, teachers and school lunches. She said that even in Soviet Russia, the school lunches and education were better than what we have here at a top notch magnet school. Of course, I could tell she was lying.

She also said her medical school was free. I didn't say anything. But was thinking that the joke was on her. Because even though they paid for education, she's here in the United States providing medical services in our community.
