So, at most our country has had a sordid history in the Middle East for 100 years, because we didn't really do anything, anywhere, before WW1. Being a scholar on the subject, could you inform the class how long there has been a sordid history in the Middle East?

Yeah, they've been killing each other over there for a millennium or two at least. But go ahead and blame the problems over there on the US clumsily doing what we thought might lessen the bloodshed for the last 5% of the time they've been brutalizing each other. Do you bro.

You seem to have a studied grasp of the situation, so I'll just let you continue on your merry way.

The truth is, the US has very little history in the ME prior to 1946.

You keep harping on the length of time in respect of U.S. involvement there. Are you trying to assert that this lessens the adverse effects of that involvement? It's a really odd argument, but it clearly means something to you.

You keep harping on the sordid involvement of the United States there. Are you trying to assert that a drop of sordid involvement in a sea of generational brutality increases that brutality in any measurable amount? It's a really odd argument, but it clearly means something to you.

Yes. If you don't understand the measurable effects of our involvement in the region, that speaks to your ignorance.

No, it's not.

And if you don't understand that were it not for some of our sordid involvement, an entire people would probably not exist on earth, that speaks to your own ignorance, nonchalance, and yes, brutality also.

The US simply included itself in the blinding hatred of the Jewish people by helping them, defending them, and trying to ensure their survival. Our sordid history in the ME has been mostly about dealing with the repercussions of that action.

Wrong, he wants you banned because you NEVER substantiate any of these wild claims you make.

What, in your opinion, "substantiates" a claim? Because all I've EVER seen on this board are links to fake news.

That's complete and total crap, but even if it were true, what does that say about a country that puts them first?

Puts them first? Was there another people facing an existential threat that the US ignored?

As opposed to the irrefutable info you link.

You mean nobody here has even accidentally stumbled across the REAL stuff you're privy to? You'd think there would be at least one or two blind squirrel moments here, if you run across so many folks in your daily interactions outside of this depraved deficient board who are intimately aware of such stuff.

Like I said, if something I post interests you, do what normal people do and research it yourself.
You're angry because I don't agree with you and you want me banned. You seem to have a clear grasp of freedom and liberty.

Yeah, it's not like a country had just exterminated somewhere between 6 and 15 million of them in Europe or anything. And then everyone around them in the ME was just dying to be their neighbor. None of them vowing to kill every one of them, men, women and children for the last 70 years or so. Get real.
