The entire military budget?

No, while I favor cutting military spending by 42-45%, maintaing a large and powerful navy is an absolute must for this country. All this wonderful security we enjoy behind our oceans is because we have a navy that makes sure nobody fricks with us.

Single payer health care in this country is absolutely not possible even with a strictly controlled immigration policy. We do not have the demographics, median income, tax bases, and healthy enough lifestyles to sustain such a system that would not be rampant with corruption, incompetence and poor service. Seriously, take a trip to your local DMV and that's all you need to be skeptical of gov't run healthcare. Vermont is lily white, healthy, and extremely rich and they still ran into a lot of trouble instituting single payer and they had to double taxes a shite ton. Single payer in this country is a left wing fantasy.

I don't have a problem with open immigration if there is no welfare state or entitlements of any kind that gives an incentive to illegal immigrants to come here. I have a problem with illegal immigrants coming here if we have the welfare state we do right now, that is not sustainable at all and would send this country into financial ruin and hasten the collapse of America. Paying troops to sit on the border to shoot invaders is expensive.
