I don't understand the claim of "moral right" any more than you do.
It is an irrelevant concept in this situation.
The only concept of importance is power, force, and violence. That is how this situation will be solved, not "moral rights".

It's historical clarification. If you wish to insist that Israel has a right to exist because Israelis reclaimed their homeland you've been corrected.
