I don't doubt he's in the military there dipstick, I'm sure he is as I was in the ROK many years ago. The visiting DPRK is the bullshite part of his story, particularly since he's in the military. Anyone with any sense knows that.

i've watched documentaries made by american's in north korea, they went the same way through China

You said you didnt want to lose your clearance. If you'd been straight during the interview, you'd still have gotten it and you wouldn't have to worry about it.

I believe I said I won't go back again, as I now have a clearance and doing so would cause me to lose my job. I was honest in interviews because I had nothing to hide, and my experiences were relevant and noteworthy.

In any case, my experiences seem to have distracted from the thread and that's regrettable, as I know we have many on here who are quite capable of decent discussions on what's going on in North Korea. Likewise, we have some who are able to make the connection between a comparison of one's own personal experiences with a video of average Joes touring the country without thinking that it's "bragging" or embellished.
If you want to have a political discussion on the political talk message board, I'm all ears (eyes?).
