So you think it should be okay for grown men to hit 15yo kids?

Unless you're a couple of queens who want to get hitched. Then you can't be refused service for any reason.

Creepy? Yes.

Age of consent in Washington is 16 according to the article which I'm assuming is the issue.

Legally, that would mean he did nothing legally wrong. The barista is a legal target for his flirting as long as he didn't do anything that represented harassment.

LOL at thinking the spokane police are liberal.

And I believe its long held legal principle that businesses can ban individuals for reasons, assuming they aren't related to civil rights.

I believe in the freedom to serve who you want as a private business. I also like pointing out hypocrisy when it is shown.

Age of consent is 16 in Washington, so legally he did nothing wrong if all he did was flirt with her or ask her out.

Now that being said Starbucks is a private corporation who should be allowed to refuse service to anyone for any reason. Yes, that includes refusing service for being gay, black, female, etc. Public accommodation laws have outlived their usefulness.

Who cares? Why shouldn't Starbucks be allowed to discriminate against whoever they want?

KREM reports Werner also referenced his website dedicated to “age gap love” when defending himself.

Werner does, in fact, have an entire website dedicated to why men should date young women (specifically those born in the 1990s).

Werner, who calls himself a “scientist without a degree in science,” defends his preference for younger women by saying having children with men over 35 will give the children “stronger DNA.”

Throughout his Facebook pages, Werner accuses people who don't accept his “age gap love” theory of being “hateful” and “ageist and against truth like Republicans.”

Yea, let's hold a rally for this guy.

The dude is obviously a creeper and I seriously doubt his side of the story where he acts completely innocent of being a pervy frick that was weirding out the staff.

My levity goes unappreciated here. It just so happens most in this zoo agree with me on this topic, albeit often for different reasons
