No. Paying for your own care isn't "being shafted".

I'm paying $281 a month right now. Set to increase to close to $330 next month. I'm getting shafted. I've been to the doctor maybe twice in the last 3 years.

If government really wanted to help they would regulate health care costs. When I was in college I went to the emergency room for a severe ear ache at 2AM. I was uninsured and paid out of pocket. The RN have me a shot and some pills, and the MD came in and looked at it, he was in there for less than a minute.

Got a bill from the hospital for like $500 which I thought was extreme, then got a bill from the doctor for the same. Ridiculous. No way a 30 minute visit should cost $1000. There's the problem.

I'm waiting until late Jan for surgery.

I'll be in Miami for a week and mid-Jan so I'm waiting until I get back.

Most professions that require that much education have pretty good income standards. Are you against doctors making a good income?

Doctors are the top earners pretty much across the board. Medical costs keep going up. I see doctors driving the latest luxury cars, fancy houses, etc. etc.

I think there is a correlation.
