Excellent!
Minimum Wage should be a state choice. Let what ever state set it to what ever level they desire. As a state economy goes up or down because of these economic decisions, people can vote with their feet. They can leaved below average economies and move to better ones!
The Federal government should not be involved in what is a state's rights issue!

It might be a phased-in increase.
That's how Arkansas did it. Voters approved it in 2014 and it went up three times over 2 years.
We now have one of the best minimum wage to COL situations in the country. And we'll have legal medical MJ operating this summer. Arkansas is pretty different from much of the South.

We went up $0.05. You other states are going to be losing soo many jobs to Missouri and our cheap labor.
