That's her on the left.

Don't get me wrong. It's extremely sad for that family and I'm very sorry for their loss, but somebody has GOT to tell people that the odds of getting and dying from Covid are exponentially much higher if someone is obese. Stop lying to these people and saying they didn't have underlying health problems. Preach healthy diets and exercise, not masks. Masks aren't going to save the next fat kid that gets it. Sunshine and exercise will along with stopping the drinking of soft drinks and start eating a salad instead of fried foods and cheap carbs.

Ignoring rare medical conditions, how TF do you get that big by the age of 16?

Context is everything for a truth seeker but is the enemy for the propagandist.

We are an enable society now. We do everything we can to avoid responsibility for bad habits or decisions. Don't want to die from COVID, don't worry about eating right or working out! Just take a shot. Too lazy to spend money on a condom or birth control? frick it! Get an abortion.

something tells me that the article glossing over the vaccination status meant she was vaccinated.

we all know damn well the headline would read
"unvaccinated teen dies of covid with no preexisting health conditions" if she was not jabbed

16-year-old Sha’Niyah McGee's grandmother says she was diagnosed early last month. Her symptoms were mild. Then, her family says last week she suddenly took a turn.

I’m not sure this is a Covid death. It certainly doesn’t follow what we would expect to see.

quote:

This teen’s family says it didn’t seem like she was seriously ill. She wasn’t hospitalized. She was quarantined in her room. Then, last week, she passed out and didn’t wake up.

How long was she quarantined?
Did she die and the family didn’t notice?

Lots of oddities on the timeline.

Also buried in the story is the death of a school district employee who had even received the vaccine booster.

You obviously don't know how left leaning the local Fox station is in Dallas

Obesity is the number one risk factor for covid. I believe even more so than age. This body positivity shite needs to stop.

It's weird because Steve Eagar (their lead anchor) is not a leftist at all

Possibly. Or it could be something completely unrelated to Covid.

The family said she was diagnosed in early September.

The school said she had been out of school for “several weeks.”

She wasn’t receiving any additional medical care. She didn’t even seem sick.

This and the denial of any sort of treatment. Sending someone home and telling them to quarantine and not come back unless their lips turn blue isn't a winning strategy.

At some point, they're going to have to recognize that being the size of a baby hippo is detrimental to your health.
