To fight "inequality," advocate for women's rights, and protest Trump after his "grab them by the pussy" comment.

In the past week, has there been a single news story of women protesting in the streets about Weinstein and Hollywood?

I'm honestly curious. I googled "Harvey Weinstein protest" and got nothing.

I'm not talking about an actual organized protest. Just give me 3 women outside Grauman's Chinese Theater with posters. I don't care.

Anything?

Because the “fight for equality” has nothing to do with making lives better for women.

Double standards are still standards.

Or something.

The fight for equality was founded on the assertion that some are more equal than others

Women get more college degrees, women get more scholarship money, women are paid equal or higher in identical jobs, women get quota benefits, women are not sent to prison or jail in the vast majority of cases and overall time served is magnitudes lower, women win custody the most, women get alimony more

Its all a fricking scam at this point

Double standards don't even begin to describe it

They should honestly come up with a new word in the dictionary for this kind of hypocrisy.

This is just Los Angeles after "Grab them by the pussy"

One of the biggest names in Hollywood sexually assaults women:

Not a SINGLE woman who protested 10 months ago is upset about it enough to take to the streets and voice her opinion about it.

Not ONE

That is insanity

Feminism is a sham. It's a tool used by the left to keep their identity politics engine humming.

An excellent and telling point. I'm starting to really think America has the largest sheep population in the world.

When did Harvey Weinstein become the POTUS?

I doubt 90% of Americans knew who he was before the recent revelations.

I see

So women only need to be defended when the president says something crude, and not when a person of power in Hollywood sexually assaults them.

Makes sense

So should any woman raped by a Joe Schmo not take a stand against her rapist since 99.999999999% of America doesn't know the Joe Schmo?

Who said the victim shouldn't take a stand against Joe Schmo because no one knows him?

Your scenario has nothing to do with Weinstein, Trump, or women protesting. Per your hypothetical, all women should protest every rape.

Women protested Trump because of his position of power over all women in the US. Weinstein only held power over women in Hollywood. This thread would be better if it called out women in Hollywood not protesting Trump, not all women in America.
