Is it just me, but is anybody concerned about our secondary?

It seems like we are hardly ever close to any of the receivers when they make a catch. How did the MSU qb throw like he did against us? (could of had way more yardage and very possibly another TD if it wasn't for that drop) This just concerns me for UF and Bama. Damn I miss Beckwith!

Yeah. I have posted my concerns. I am very concerned. Too many big plays, which means two people are messin up, or out of place. I have been pleased with the talent though........but LSU is going to have to blitz a heck of a lot.

The only thing I am concerned about is the blown assignments/big plays. I am fine with LSU allowing other teams the underneath routes, or short passes out in the flats.

But what is scary is that the nickel and dime players are always trailing behind their assignments, or just completely out of the picture.

They knew they could beat MSU, N.Texas, & ASU without showing much. In two weeks, Hawkins & Eugene are going have those corners locked down as tight as a 10 year-old. Pevito will see to that.

I agree with that. You can't stop every underneath pass...but it doesn't seem that the 5/10 package has been worked out satisfactorily...I was hoping that C.Jones and P.P. would solve that...but, not....maybe P.Jones or B.Taylor will get a shot to do more over these two weeks...someone has got to get it done soon with Ga. and Fla. coming up.

I'm concerned. But, is it the players or is it coaching? Seems like there is alot of confusion just before the snap. Watched Bama defense and they are focused, not looking around as the ball is being snapped. Quite a difference and they lost experience last year as did we.

the secondary is fine...have some faith in our coaches they know what they are doing...ill give the qb the underneath route every time when we are winning and they are only getting 3-5 yards
