Best quote of the night was by Mike Patrick when he said, "I guarantee they are asking Andrew Hatch how many fingers they are holding up and he is saying, 'Thursday.'"

Yeah, Jerruad Powers was the MVP for LSU in this game and last year's game when he got owned by Byrd.

To be honest I didn't really care for ESPN's handling of the Hatch situation. Just my $.02.

I dont know if they showed it on TV but Hatch was basically walking in circles. He tried to put his mouth piece in and it fell. The sidelines were yelling at him to laydown so they could come look at him, and he basically just fell on his arse trying to sit down.

I liked when (after the KW pass) Mike Patrick said ...

"LSU will do anything at any time."

The bench told him to go down so we didn't have to burn a timeout.

He was knocked out on his feet, but Brett Helms knee was the culprit, with a little help from Powers.

Me either. It was all Mike Patrick. He kept on making jokes about a player with a head injury. He just wouldn't let it go. Todd Blackledge, who's actually played football didn't crack any jokes at all.

It wasn't the hit by the Auburn defender that knocked Hatch out. He was kicked in the back of the head by an LSU lineman as he was falling.

I have to say that I thought it was hilarious. I know, I know, head injuries are potentially very serious, but something about him staggering, fumbling with the mouthpiece, blinking and shaking his head were quite hilarious....we were dying laughing at my house.

Just to clarify. It was not the hit by the Auburn player that sent Hatch out of the game. As he was falling down from the initial hit by the Auburn player his head was hit by Brett Helms knee. It was the hit against Helms knee that knocked him out of the game.

Injury takes place at the 3:33 mark of the video

Typically classy Bama fans. Don't worry, I'm sure 92,000 plus will be laughing at the Gumps leaving Tiger Stadium after Little Nicky gets his arse whipped

We'll do the same should you or a member of your family ever get a concussion!
