I say no. J-Lee is the perfect person to take over. I thought this from the begininng and i'm happy he had a great game last night. He reminds me alot of a Colt McCoy style player. So Hatchy stay on the bench and try to figure out where you are(never a fan of hatch sorry). Can't wait for Russel Shep!!!

Hatch will play again. Hatch was brought over here by Crowton. noway Crowton turns his back on this kid. That being said, i think j.l. should get the majority of snaps with Hatch coming in to run the read option at times.

Lee had a great 2nd half but who knows what will happen. I agree that after that performance he is the best of the two.

Lee should be the starter from here on...even though I think a better CB would have taken the last pass to Lafell the other way for a TD...he is clearly more of a threat in the passing game(to which side isn't still clear..joking)...He at least makes the other team think we might throw...Hatch drops back and takes off..he doesn't have any kind of pocket awareness just runs and yes he had some nice runs but down the road there will be 9 in the box when he is in so that makes Lee the better option here on out..

JL had a good second half, but he was atrocious in the first.
He has a ton of talent, but he's still a baby and I don't think he's ready to start against a team like Florida. Unfortunately, we don't have much choice. I'm definitely not jumping on the Lee bandwagon just yet.. he still has a lot to prove.
That being said, I think he should get the start against Moo State, but I think Hatch gets some PT, too.

Lee is better for the team this year...Not Hatch.

i had a feeling right before kickoff that one of these guys will step up late and take over the game and carry us to victory. glad it was lee, i was pulling for him to be the starter during the summer.

Because they are both white and from Texas?

They are totally different QBs. Lee is the traditional pocket passer, while McCoy likes to get out of the pocket and improvise.

that ball was put in a spot where nobody but lafell coud've caught it. on tv it looked like the cb had a shot at it. but on the replay from the sideline angle, he had no shot at getting the pick. best he could've done was dive and tip it.

I would like to see both of them play equally for the next two games and (also see Jefferson work at least two series next week against MSU) then allow the coaches decide on the season's starter based on performance.

Hatch has some great wheels and manages the game pretty well. It just doesn't seem like he can make the big throws.

Lee is a little sloth-ish looking, but he does have a quick delivery. He did dig us in a hole, but then dug us back out.

I'd expect we'll continue to see both in even doses.

It wasn't as close as it looked from another angle. It's called arm strength and quick release.

Hatch does not have the arm strength to play everyday in the SEC. The Defenses are too fast.

Lee led a team to victory ON THE ROAD..AGAINST A TOP 10 DEFENSE..IN A STADIUM WHERE NO LSU QB HAS WON IN THE LAST HALF-DECADE? Thats major exp. points. That 2 minute drill was clutch. He hearned lots of points in my book. My opinion--start him against State. Let him play the first half with no other QB coming in. Let him pass alot. Get him comfy in the pocket. 2nd half--split time with Hatch and JJ.

I've been waiting for one of these guys to show he was a gamer and distinguish himself as the starter. I think Lee has now done that. I think you have to stick with Lee now and let him get into his comfort level. Lee's biggest problem up until the 2nd half last night was just not being at ease with the game. I saw this in the spring game, Appy and NT. Seems like finally in the second half last night Lee relaxed and play ball. Hopefully the kid has found his groove.

Lee looked like the quaterback that we saw come out of high school in the second half. It will be imperative to have Hatch ready because3 we are always one play away from needing him. I thaought Andrew showed a lot of poise at times but anytime you run your qb there is always a chance that he will get hurt.

There is a certain argument that Hatch might be a better QB when LSU has the lead and Lee is the better QB to put in when LSU is behind.

There is certainly room for two QBs, particularly when they bring different things to the table - Hatch has demonstrated that he can be the guy if you need a ball control offense.
