I watched most of the Bastrop game last night and I thought that the sophmore qb who came in for RR played real well.

Anyone know much about him?

Prolly evacuated SW La for Ike. Bradshaw doesn't waste time.

they knew he was going to be good. just wasnt sure if he would be ready for that stage or not. hopefully rueben can move back to wr where he belongs. his name is darrin anderson and for the record he is home grown, like every single player on bastrops team.

technically you are wrong. bastrop won a state championship many moons ago. probably 90% of the state champs wouldnt have a ring without a recruit......and most could care less. except fot the

I agree. That's why I've been thinking a lot about Ridge Turner of South Plaquemines (formerly Port Sulphur where Mackey is from) and think he should be getting just a little more recognition.

I agree though, Mackey propelled them past a lot of teams in their quick rise.

Good. Tell him to pack his stuff and get his butt here. We need him to come to LSU to play immediately. We play Auburn next week and we have no quarterback. - The Rant

And what I was trying to say with the last post is that I think Ridge Turner is better than Randall Mackey.

ive seen both play and turner in no where near the quarterback that mackey is, maybe a better athelete but remember the level of competition difference they played too. turner will never be recruited for the qb position.

Yeah, I was just talking as an athlete I know Turner will never play QB at the next level (doubt Mackey does either). Turner is the better athlete though and the level of compettiion is a dumb argument because Mackey played at Port Sulphur before Bastrop.

Turner is a good athelete but he is not the player Mackey is.
