Is there a place where a lot of LSU tailgaters will be Saturday? Also, an LSU "spot" for Friday night? My first time on the Plains.

There is some cool stuff that goes on around their student union.

It is the double wide with a large rebel flag and an outhouse out back.

See ya there with the guac dip.

Golfer, do y'all run an open operation where people throw up a few bucks and party or is it a private show? Me and a buddy and the wives are making the trip. We've been three times and we usually walk around. We'd like to maybe hang out with some locals this time.

We are coming down from DC, staying with a bunch of Auburn folks. We were told to go to the Supper Club Friday night for drinks/people watching.

I will be in the Daniel LaRusso headband saturday.

Anybody going up there without tickets? There are still a bunch on ebay and stubhub so hopefully some prices will fall or they'll have some on campus.

Anyone can party with us...usually ask $10 for beer/food.

I do have to warn you. I'm one of only 3 alumni that will be there...most are students...and the keg is natty light...

You are however, more than welcome to just come hang out with us and enjoy a good time!

ETA: I just thoguht about the beer situation for Auburn. Depending on how many people/who comes, I might just do cans or 1 good keg of budlight...

Not when your wife actually gives a shite about football and makes you start going over the roster in July so she knows every one's new number.

What time should we set up Saturday morning? Driving over from Bham with a crew from Baton Rouge.

Are spots free?

All answers I'm trying to figure out...I'm talking to a few friends of mine at Auburn to give me the scoop.

There's free parking on and around the campus; the few lots that are close to the stadium are permit only and mostly Burner-wipes anyway. Their idea of big-time tailgating is a bucket of chicken and a six pack. Most LSU RV's are in fields near S. College St. and S. Donahue Dr. There's a liquor store on S. Donahue Dr. , just south of the corner with S. College St.

I've been up there for the game the last 3 times we've played there. Last year we got into town around 6 on Friday. Traffic was backed up all the way from campus to the University Ave exit on I-85. So, if you get into town late on Friday be prepared to sit in traffic. It will be like that pretty much all day Saturday, too. The Supper Club is fun and a lot of alumni from both schools tend to go there on Fridays before big games. For the most part, the students congregate elsewhere. If you've never had a Jimmy John's sub before get one.
