Hurricane season is screwing up my travels again! We are vacating and heading to north San Antonio to escape Ike's wrath. Can anybody please let me know a place to watch the LSU game Saturday night?

Thanks,

Carey

The LSU Alumni San Antonio Chapter have a viewing party on game days at The Lion & Rose Pub & Restaurant at 700 East Sonterra Blvd in north San Antonio. I have been once and had a great time with other fans and alumni. Since the N. Texas game is not a nationally televised game, I am not sure if they are having it though. You can call 210-798-5466 to find out more.

From what I hear, San Antonio may not be a great place to miss the storm. Better re-check that. You may not have power to watch any game.

I live in San Antonio and they are not predicting it to be bad. Lot's of rain and some wind but shouldn't have power outages. Of course I still have my generator from my Louisiana days and a subscription to gameplan so I'll be watching....

We presently live 2 miles south of Kemah Texas and 1 mile from Galveston Bay. I believe SA is a better option then our home in League City. Thanks of info. Who knows I might see a couple of Tigers fans over the next 2 days.

I was supposed to be going to San Antonio Sunday afternoon for a conference next week, but thinking that flying through IAH Sunday is not sounding like a good plan. Good luck you guys!

Me an some friends go every Thursday to BWW. I usually wear an LSU hat or an LSU t-shirt. Every once in a while someone will give me a "Geaux Tigers". I've never gone when a game is on though. I usually watch at home when it's on CBS. I suspect if you go, there will be a few fans there watching also.

So, how did SA come through? Guessing my hotel room is occupied by an evacuated Houstonian-just as well, seriously doubt that IAH will be reopened by midday tomorrow, and I sure as Hell don't need to get caught in an airport in a city without power-already got my t-shirt for this year.
