Has anyone heard anything about APP State arriving today and the game being played at 7 on Friday? Heard this from a friend, just wondering if anyone else may have heard the same thing. Obviously that would depend on if the hurricane even comes here.

He said LSU officials talked with Jindal today and they told him this game had to be played. Told him to try and make a decision by thurs. afternoon to give them time to move the game to fri. if necessary.

haven't heard this or anything close to this... i think the athletic department is operating under the assumption that the game will be on saturday unless evacuations happen. that said, i don't know when we would reschedule, if the game isn't played saturday ... i don't think our bye weeks match up

I would rather it be Friday than cancelled or re-scheduled for later. At least it would be a night game and cooler. Not to mention one less day to wait until kickoff!

Tomorrow the national weather service will issue another update on the hurricane. Jindal will probably announce no later than tomorrow afternoon the evacuation process for New Orleans. Since Blanco was such a stupid bitch the last time, Jindal wants to go above and beyond to prepare the state. Evacuations could start as early as Friday with contrflow beginning saturday evening.
There is a chance this game will be moved to an earlier start time but I doubt that would be for Friday night.
