So, I guess they will be ok with screwing over the people that come in from out of town? (letting them know 24 hours in advance) What about the personnel that work on gameday? Are they just going to be released from their other jobs? How is gameday traffic going to flow with your average Friday traffic?

I would love your scenario to happen. I'd love it, but you mean to tell me thatLSU officials strongarmed Jindal with an ultimatum?
Someone else brought up the best points...do you think people who work at/near Tiger Stadium have no other jobs or no other ways to make income? How about the cops who have season tix who worked a FRiday so they could schedule Saturday off ( I know a BR cop who exemplifies such)? Sorry...it'd be grand, swell, and neat, but no way do we play a game on Friday for these and about 999 other reasons.

i couldnt imagine the game being moved to friday, but that would be a lot better..especially if it's at night..if that can't happen then at least the game could be moved to an earlier time..heat or not, i want to see this game!!

Just telling you guys what was said to me. It might and probably is not going to happen that way. Just asking about it. I didnt need any reasons why it would or would not happen. Just yea I heard it, or no I didn't.

I'm pretty sure they would postpone the game before they moved it up a day just 48 hours out. There is just to much to try and get done in that time frame. Let alone the fact that the demand for refunds, loss of revenue from concessions, etc. would far outweigh their chances at just rescheduling and trying to save some of that money.
I would say it's impossible to do this close to projected playing date. Who remembers when they shifted the game to Monday night? Wasn't it a week before the game, or like the Wed. of the week before?
