Just visited my favorite sushi joint in Houston again this weekend - Blue Fish House on Richmond Ave.

Curious to see what everyone else's favorite place in Houston is and if I've eaten there.

I second Japaneiro's. Their sashimi is also good.

I'll have to try it if I'm ever out that way...

Been to the Blue Fish House on Richmond. Very good. Cool atmosphere.

I like Masa Sushi down on I-45 in Dickinson south of Houston. (Hwy 646 exit)

The Masa Tower is awesome.

I think it's called Soma. Haven't been there yet, but I've heard good things.

Yeah, Soma... it's brand new. I haven't tried it yet, but it's only a block away from my girlfriend's house, so I'll probably try it soon. A friend of mine ate there a couple of days ago and said it was good... apparently they almost require a reservation.

That's sorta how I feel about it... I think the Sushi King down the street is actually better... but when I'm in that area, I just go to Blue Fish.

I've never been buy my friends love RA sushi off Westheimer. They say it is awesome, but it looks too much like a hipster club type place for me to want to go.

It's not very good, I like Rickshaw or The Fish better.

The sushi is actually pretty good if you can get past the smattering of douchebags (which I can't).

I doubt I could either Stagg. I may try it out for lunch one day.

I go to Miyako's for their happy hour, good deal. Soma, I've heard terrible things, but mainly about their staff.

I need to go to Blue Fish, but lately I've been going to Zake, which is loud and clubby feeling like RA but not nearly as many guys in Affliction shirts.
