Will he be the starting RB for Chicago this year? I picked him up late in my fantasy football draft hoping that he would be a starter.

Awesome, figured it was worth a shot picking him up late in the draft and haven't been able to watch the Bears yet this preseason.

Yeah. He'll be a starter without a doubt due to the horrible RB situation in Chicago.

Figured he would at least get some playing time without Cedric Benson in Chicago. What about Adrian Peterson? Wasn't he starting at RB at the end of last season?

he will be the starter, but look for a situation like LSU last year. He will split carries with Kevin Jones, and Adrian Peterson. But they would like him to emerge as the #1. I watched the last preseason game and he looked real good. I do think he is the real deal. The problem is that Chicago's offensive line is shaky. That being said I'm thinking about putting some money on his futures as the Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Splitting carries on a team with a bad line and a negligible passing game. If you picked him late probably decent value, but don't expect much.

i completely disagree.

He is on a team with a below average offense line and a horrible passing game. But, he's also coached by a man who believes in great defense and ball control. That alone will garner him close to 20 carries a game. I think he is going to have a really good season this year.

Fine pick him in the second round and be disappointed.

This:

makes it very hard to do this:

great defense and ball control.

And makes this very unlikely:

I think he is going to have a really good season this year.

the bears also did not have a great defense last year, they were terrible. Their tackling has again looked wretched in the preseason. It's hard to run an effective ball control running offense when you are always behind. Forte will be solid, but i don't look for anyone on the Chicago offense to post spectacular numbers. Not this year.

Will Devin Hester be the top point producer from the skill positions in Chicago this year?
