I saw him play sparingly in the replay of last years game with Tulane and must say, I think he wears his numbers well at the DE positon and will only get better this year.

He will definately get some PT this year behind Pittman and Jackson. He's our #1 backup at DE and can get the job done.

I wasn't overly impressed with his play last year. I feel one of our younsters like Corley, Levingston,Clement or Chancey Agahyrer will overtake him in 2 years.

That was my hunch, as formerly being in the National Guard, a HUGE former Southern Uni footballer that was Omega, was in my unit, he had that huge cattle-branded Omega symbol also.
I wonder if they use smaller brands for the twiggy hoopsters and toothpick-armed frat bros? You have to sport serious sized guns for those Omegacron burns!

I thought Alem looked pretty good when he got PT. I like the fact that he us smaller (and faster) than out other DEs. At least he can get around the corner, which makes him useful in obvious passing situations.
