Read Luke 15:11-32- the Prodigal Son.

It's the story of the prodigal son. He insists on getting his share of his father's inheritance while his father is still alive. He ends up being a swine herder (hmmm, sounds like the Bama job to me) and returns repentant to his father who basically pays no attention to his past transgressions; instead, he slaughters a fatted calf (the rest of the SEC???) to celebrate his return.

There may be a lesson in here for all of us.
