I just heard on WWL870am that those helmets were for a Prostate Cancer charity fundraiser activity. Has nothing to do with a baseball team's colors[Tulane]. Good project, my wife has had cancer twice, it's no fun. Geaux Tigers.

It's also why Tulane is wearing the blue pants. They said it's only the second time ever, though I didn't catch why. Classy gesture by both clubs.

I really like those Tulane uniforms. Their sets are probably one of my favorites in college baseball.

We had the Tulane setup in HS, not the blues, but we were the Greenware and had the white cleats and hats. It's a clean look.

There is an organization in Baton Rouge that helps support the Tulane Cancer Center and their prostate cancer research. Coach Manieri spoke at the fundraiser banquet last year and is an honorary board member. LINK
