Stopped spinning and draining properly, it is a basic whirlpool machine. Anyone recommend a quality repair company reasonably priced? We have used Sears in the past but wanted to see what others have used and liked.

If in Baton Rouge, Stanton's.
If you're a do-it-yourself type of person, there are videos on how to do it online along with recommended parts that come with a great return policy, no questions asked. May be a simple fix.

Something might be stuck in the drain line. Or the timer is jacked.

Could be as simple as a lid switch

There is no water in the bin, the clothes are just bunched up, not flat around the outsides and soaked with water. So maybe more spinning issue then drainage?

Could be. Could be clutch issue, lid switch.
Try a spin on a different cycle. If you can do that it will probably be a timer issue.

it won't spin if I thinks the lid is open. depress the lid switch and see if it will spin

Get about a gallon of paint thinner and run it through the Washing Machine. The exponator switch is stuck or the incabulator board is gunked up.

OT Ballers don't have shite fixed; we have them replaced after our maids use them once.
