I'll go with "attention whore assholes who start threads" for 500, Alex.

Actually, I came over to this board to enjoy, and to my dismay, here you are, fricking IT up, too.

YOU are why we can't have nice things.

I don't think I've ever been so happy to see a champion lose. Alex was an egotistical butthead, and looked like he was about to cry.

Nah. He was a great player that was out for blood. I'm sick of the anodyne patterns the usual contestants fall into - choosing the lowest dollar value first and whatnot. He was a Daily Double hunter who used it to great effect.

He was clearly some kind of savant with social issues. It's bizarre that you didn't like him.

Alex Jacob was once a very prominent poker pro. Made some big scores in No-limit Texas hold 'em tournaments 6-8 years ago out in Vegas. Very intelligent guy so not surprising to see him go on the run he had.

Alex was a very strong contestant.

I think he was shocked that the other guy was able to come back & was in disbelief that he didn't have the game put away with $26k going into final jeopardy. 9 games out of 10 26k isn't catchable in FJ.

The other guy really came out of nowhere, he had the easy daily double and then ran the water category. He got destroyed yesterday.

Yep. He didn't strike me as someone who would stay around very long. This new champion won't, either.
