A&M pretty much sucked as a team, but in their system

So if we get a"system" our QB troubles are over. Where to we get this System?
Not sure we're understanding each other...?

If all that's important to you is having big numbers at QB, then yes, you can use A&M's system. By that, I simply mean you approach football games the way they do- throw it 50 times a game, don't worry about time of possession, go fast the entire game. Even with the dreaded Anthony Jennings, if you line up in the shotgun and have him throw it every down, he will pile up yards. He will develop some timing with receivers to whom he throws the ball to 45 times a game, and by mid-season you can probably count on him having a 300 yd game against anyone. His passing totals might be the entire amount of offense we have in that game, but he will get his numbers.

Now, doing so might mean you don't run the ball worth a flip, you go 3 and out a bunch of times, and your defense gets exposed and exhausted. You might play your way out of a game by halftime, but you might also play your way back in at times too. And sometimes, you might score a lot of points. If your team has good players on it, you might outscore the other team a good bit of the time, and after 12 games of this style of play, yes, even Jennings will probably set yardage records for a season. This, basically, is Sumlin's system at A&M.

Is that what you want?

I get what he's saying and he couldn't be more right. Also, I hate him but if you know anything about how things work with Miles, you know he's right too.

So, give Jennings all the reps and let Harris never develop?

That makes sense.

Maybe he is just extending practice and doing more reps to give each QB as close to as many first team reps EACH, as they would if one of them got ALL the reps.
Sorry if I confused you.....

Reps are done in practice as well. That's EXACTLY where we would benifit if only one were taking first team reps!

What is wrong with you? Let me help......Starting from today, from the second after midnight till the next midnight, LSU would be better off with there being only one qb having anything to do with the first team. Get it? Pick a guy and he does every single rep, practice or scrimmage, with the first unit!

. . . he would complain about that too, he is a negatiger he thinks it is his job to complain !

Well, he's a Missouri Tiger so the "negatiger" label might be a little out of place with ref to his writing about LSU. As the others mention, his articles are just clickbait. Don't read anything he writes and you will miss nothing.

It's not about splitting reps anymore. No coaches are around.
